SENATRANS POLSKA has inaugurated the new headquarters of its Turin hub in the Interporto Sito di Rivalta area.
The new headquarters, which houses the commercial and administrative offices, covers an area of around 11,000 square metres, with over 5,000 square metres dedicated to warehousing.
“Within our logistics platform, the Turin hub has always been strategic. This project,” says Ivan Senatore, “will give our network a further degree of international appeal. The freight village plays an important role in logistics on a European and global scale, and increasing the surface area of the warehouse is of great strategic value to us.
The Turin hub has daily connections to Poland, but also to France and Romania.
More and more customers are asking us to combine logistics and transport services, not only in Romania but also abroad. Thanks to the 5,000 square metres of warehouse space at our new headquarters in Turin, we will be able to extend our industrial logistics services with covered or uncovered warehousing, material storage with possible processing, palletising with dedicated staff, and simplified procedures….
Now that e-commerce in particular is driving demand for vehicles and facilities capable of offering cutting-edge logistics services, we have decided to invest in expanding our network of transit points throughout Europe to enable Senatrans Polska to achieve the best possible synergies and economies of scale.
In our development plan, the Turin Hub is fundamental for simplifying and speeding up deliveries throughout northern Italy, particularly in Piedmont, the Aosta Valley and Lombardy, and as a logistics base for sorting goods throughout Europe”.
